Today's Hours by Planet in Casablanca
Planetary Hours in Casablanca Through 2026
Over the year a daytime hour in Casablanca runs from 50 minutes around Dec 21 to 72 minutes around Jun 21, a swing of 22 minutes.
Casablanca lies west of the meridian its clocks follow (UTC+1), so the Sun, and with it the first planetary hour, runs about 90 minutes behind the clock: noon by the Sun comes near 1:30 PM standard time.
Clocks in Casablanca go back an hour on Feb 15, forward on Mar 22 and back on Sep 20. The planetary hours follow the Sun, so the hours themselves don't move; only their clock times jump by an hour overnight.
The shortest day is not the darkest at both ends: Casablanca's earliest sunset comes 23 days before it, on Nov 28, and its latest sunrise 14 days after it, on Jan 4, because solar noon drifts through the year.
