Today's Hours by Planet in Lagos
Planetary Hours in Lagos Through 2026
Lagos is close enough to the equator that its daytime and nighttime hours stay within 5 minutes of each other all year; a daytime hour never drops below 59 minutes or passes 63.
Because Lagos lies between the tropics, the noon Sun passes straight overhead twice a year, on Apr 6 and Sep 6.
Lagos lies west of the meridian its clocks follow (UTC+1), so the Sun, and with it the first planetary hour, runs about 46 minutes behind the clock: noon by the Sun comes near 12:46 PM standard time.
