Today's Hours by Planet in Ta’if
Planetary Hours in Ta’if Through 2026
Inside the tropics, the seasons barely stretch Ta’if's planetary hours: the daytime hour moves only between 54 minutes (Dec 21) and 67 minutes (Jun 21).
Because Ta’if lies between the tropics, the noon Sun passes straight overhead twice a year, on May 27 and Jul 17.
The shortest day is not the darkest at both ends: Ta’if's earliest sunset comes 31 days before it, on Nov 20, and its latest sunrise 23 days after it, on Jan 13, because solar noon drifts through the year.
| In 2026 | Shortest / earliest | Longest / latest |
|---|---|---|
| Daytime hour | 54.2 min, Dec 21 | 67.2 min, Jun 21 |
| Sunrise (first hour) | 5:35 AM, May 30 | 6:58 AM, Jan 13 |
| Sunset (first night hour) | 5:35 PM, Nov 20 | 7:04 PM, Jun 26 |
How These Times Are Calculated
Twelve equal hours run from sunrise to sunset and twelve from sunset to the next sunrise, starting with the weekday's ruler and following the Chaldean order. Every time on this page, today's and the year's, is computed with the Swiss Ephemeris for these coordinates.
